Don't Wait Till November to Give Thanks!

As we approach Thanksgiving it's a good time to remember;

God did not leave us clueless on how to enter His Presence, He specifically said that we must "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name." Psalms 100:4

Dear friends, our tears and pain may lead us to our knees and to the altar but we absolutely cannot enter into the presence of God with tears of sorrow, mourning and agony, especially when God has given us " beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, and The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness" Expecting to enter His presence with anything other than thankfulness and joy is at best, presumptupus and at worst, outright disobedience.

Once we fall to our knees and begin to approach God in our home or at the altar, we need to begin to start thanking Him. Thank Him saints, even if it's for nothing else than for giving us the breath in our lungs and the ability to come before Him.

The bible also says,

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Herbrews 4:16

I thank God first and foremost for who He is, His awesome greatness and His undying love towards me, blessing my marriage, children and familiy. I am also thankful for those of you who take a moment of your time to listen to our music & support our ministry.

It's also very important to understand this; Worship is an attitude of the heart expressed outwardly through our bodies and also in the way we live. Understanding that we also understand that Faith, Trust and the peace of God are end results of a heart of worship.

"Right where you are, without instruments, you can lift up your hands, your voice and your heart, and worship Him and give thanks for His finished work and His grace in your life."

~ Joseph Prince

A day without praise and thanksgiving is a lost day. ~David O. Abioye

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving today and Everyday!
